Clip It Up Day!!

Hi everyone!
Today is my day again to post on the Simply Renee
Clip It Up blog. I was the special recipient of the Oasis
line from My Little Shoebox. MLS was kind enough to
send some product to me through Clip It Up and I
couldn't have been more thrilled! I have been wanting
to scrap with the Oasis line ever since I first spotted
those cute little girls and cherry blossoms on the paper
and stickers because I knew that I had just the perfect
photos to coordinate with the Oasis line!!!

These photos are from a couple of Halloweens back
when Becca dressed up as a Geisha Girl...I know right?!!
How perfect are these photos, I knew I had to have it!

Also, I want to share with you how I am using my
Clip It Up. I often receive product from DT's and companies
just like I did with the My Little Shoebox Oasis line, and of
course boxes of my own online orders and I was completely
running out of space in my scraproom for being able to
store all of these lines together. I didn't want to mix all of
these coordinating lines into my general storage for fear
that I may never find each individual piece of the lines
again, so I made good use of my Clip It Up!! All of my alphas
that coordinate with the product lines are hung on one
section of the Clip It Up with larger alphas on bottom and
the smaller alphas on the upper tier, while all of my embellies
such as stickers, rub ons, die cuts, flowers, etc. are hung on
the other two sections of the Clip It Up base and upper tier.

Now, I have all of my go-to product lines at the tip of my
fingers and the best part is that there's still room to spare!!

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

WooooHooooo!!!!

I am thrilled beyond belief to share the news that
I've been holding on to for about a week now...

I made the Donna Salazar DT!!!!
WoooHoooo!!!!!!

I honestly couldn't believe it when Donna called
me last week, and to make it worse I was chasing
Carter around the yard because it was sooo nice
outside that day and really the first day that felt
like spring this year. Donna probably thought that
I wasn't excited what-so-ever because not ony was
I occupied with chasing a two year old very active
boy around the yard on the first day he's been able
to get out of the house in over six months, but then
there's that fact that I'm not the screaming with joy
kind of person...I actually don't react to things at all
because I usually need a little while to let them sink
in and then I have to accept that it actually just
happened and wasn't some sort of trick or my imagination.
lol :) oh, what she must have thought of me!

Anyhow, I'm crazy excited and just can't wait to get
started creating!! WOW, that's going to be one happy
mail day when all of those DSD goodies arrive at my door!
Check out Donna's Blog to see all of the other
designers chosen for the 2011-2012 DT term.

Have a terrific Tuesday!

Best Creation Layout & Upcoming Blog Hop

Hi everyone!!
Today I want to share with you a layout that was
just went up on the Best Creation Blog a couple of
days ago using their Safari Girl line. This line is so
adorable (and yes, there is also a Safari Boy line that's
just as cute in blues instead of pinks) and I absolutely
love the cute little animals that can be used for such
a variety of themes like baby or toddler of course and
also zoo trips. Here's my Safari Girl layout using a
favorite photo of mine of my daughter way back in
1997 when she was only about 9 months old, and she's
now a whopping 14 1/2, geez where does the time go!!

Also, I want to give everyone a heads up about the
Best Creation Mini Book Blog Hop
starting this Friday March 11th and it will last through
Sunday. All of the DT members have created an adorable
little mini book base out of only one sheet of pattern paper!!
This was also shown at the Best Creation booth just a few
months ago at CHA....you don't want to miss out on this
hop because everyone's minis are just soooo stinkin' cute!
You will get to see many different variations on this style
of mini and come away with lots of inspiration and ideas!!
I can't wait to show you mine, it's on display in my
scraproom right now and it will stay there for a long long time!

Alrighty, I think that's all for today!
Check back tomorrow for my ScrapStreet projects featured
in this month's issue sponsored by Zva and then back

Look What I Got My Hands On!!!

I wanted to share with you one of the layouts
that I've created using the new "Fun House" line
from GCD Studios....it's fantastic!!! I scrapped
photos from our local 4H Fair and Carnival from
the summer before last and really love the way
this page turned out. The patterns really helped
me achieve the look that I was going for!

I still have more to share but I'm going to spread
out the yumminess so look for more GCD next week!

Sneaks, March Release, & Some Pics

Whew, lots going on this week!
First off I'd like to let you all know that
Some Odd Girl Digital Stamps release their
new March digis this week so head on over there
and take a peek....they're soooo super adorable!!
Here is a card that I created with an older SOG digi
"Baker Kaylee" for last week's handmade challenge...

Secondly, I wanted to share with you my sneaks
for My Creative Scrapbook using the March Main Kit
and the March Album Kit.....trust me, you are soooo
going to LOVE these March kits, go take a look HERE!
Here are a couple of peeks from the MCS Main Kit...

...and a few from the MCS Album Kit...

See?!! I told you that you were going to LOVE these kits!!
And, because I haven't shared any personal pics in a
while, I have a couple super cute ones of Carter & Emmy!
Carter is 2 1/2 now and he is going through a stage where
he will smile for the camera when I ask but unfortunately
every time he smiles he also closes his eye...hehe, so funny
but really annoying when you're an obsessed scrapper that
NEEDS photos to scrap!! I have to resort to tickling and
funny faces to get smiles out of him for pics...aaaahhhh,
a mom's work is never done! :) Anyway, here they are...

They were taken indoors with my cell so not the
best quality but hey, I have open eyes and smiles
so they're AWESOME when you have a 2 yr. old!! :)
Alrighty, I think that's all for today!
LOVES :) -Sarah
