Echo Park Cards for Thought 2 Paper

Good morning all!
I am such a lucky girl because Liz
from Thoughts 2 Paper sent me the
gorgeous Echo Park 'Sweet Summertime'
line from her store to work with this month.
Needless to say, I was soooo thrilled
to get to play with the fun and bright
papers and stickers from this line and
here's a couple of cards that I came up with.

Supplies:
cardstock
pattern paper: Echo Park from T2P
flowers: from T2P store
buttons: stock
ribbon: T2P stock
eyelets: American Crafts
border punch: Martha Stewart from T2P store
pearls: Basic Grey from T2P store

On another note, my sisters are flying in this
weekend for a friend's wedding and I'm so excited
to get to see them....they live in California and
only fly in once or twice per year so this will
definitely be a fun weekend!

Have a great Monday,

I have really been wanting to share this
layout that I recently created using my favorite
One of my favorite LO accents right now are
paper doilies and with the Kreaxion Punches
I can make them myself!! How cool is that!
I simply trace and cut out the star template
and then use my favorite punch on each point
of the star....there you have, easy as that,
a fabulous paper doilie that you just made all
on your very own!! The possibilities with these
punches are endless and I'm having a fantastic
time playing with all of them! Make sure you
check out their blog for more awesome ideas
by the other fantastic design team members.

Have a great Friday and weekend,

Treasured Scrapbooking July 2010 Kit

I had a blast using the amazing
products in the TS July Kit and even
after creating two layouts and an
altered project I still have tons left.
I've even used some of it on a third
layout that I will be sharing with you
later in the week. So, without any more
gabbing, here is my second LO and an
altered basket I picked up at a yard sale of
course that I now use to hold all of my
handmade cards.

Secondly, today is also reveal day for
Prompt #41 SWAP for Pink Ninjas.
Our challenge was to create a layout
using a photo from one of the other
DT members and I scrapped a photo
of Emily's "New 'Do". The pic was very
sassy and fun to work with so I used
the very sassy and fun pattern papers
from Momenta's Black Tie and Flutter lines.

Make sure to check out Emily's Blog and
Pink Ninja Addicts to see the layout that
Emily scrapped with my photos!

Have a wonderful Wednesday,

1st Trip To The Zoo!!

We had so much fun taking Carter (and the girls)
to the Indianapolis Zoo this past Friday!!
The weather was just perfect...in the low 80's...
and we knew that if we were doing this it
had better be soon before the temperature
headed back up to the mid 90's again
(which it has been already for the past 2 days).
This was Carter's first trip to the zoo and
he is at that perfect age where he knows
what most animals are called and can make
their sounds so it was so amazing to watch
him as he saw and experienced all of them
in real life!! We all had a blast, even Becca
and Emmy who hadn't been there in the past
few years, loved watching Carter learn and
explore. Steve and I decided to have a fun
picture drawn of the 3 kids and figured the
ridiculous price was worth it since it's will be
something that will be kept and treasured 4ever.
It was a great day and a great weekend
celebrating the 4th of July swimming and
cooking out with family and friends!!

Hope you all had a fabulous weekend as well,
LOVES :) -Sarah
