Hello everyone!
This morning I wanted to share with you a few of the
stamping techniques that I've used on my projects over
the past couple of weeks that have been featured as the
banner of the week on InspireME for Webster's Pages and
one card will be featured for ScrapStreet using Zva Creative
products. First up is my layout "Charming" created with
Webster's Pages and a large marigold stamp.
I simply stamped the image in three select places on my
layout and then colored some of the center petals with one
of my Copics (B02 Robin's Egg Blue) for added interest & color.
On my card "Hand Picked For U" I also used Webster's Pages
along with a butterfly and crown stamp to add a bit more flow
to the design on the outside and inside of the card and also a
coordinating envelope. Some Zva bling was also added to the
front of the card and envelope.....LOVE that red!!
Now, on this card "Thank U", I used a digital stamp from
KennyK and I wanted to show you exactly how I created
the hair coloring on this card. I know that everyone usually
leaves light areas to look like shine in the hair, but this card
was for my 14 year old daughter and I wanted it to look
a bit more funky. So, I used my Copics to color in the
brown and blonde highlights then I used my brown
ZigWriter to add tiny thin streaks of brown through the
blonde hair to look like strands of brown hair running
through the blonde highlights. I really like the look
of this and it's so much fun to play with techniques!
Well, I'm sharing this recap of stamping techniques and
projects with you to highlight my use of stamps for the
Queen Kat Designs DT call. I use some form of stamp or
digital image in one way or another on almost every single
project that I create. I just love the way that stamping can
turn an already beautiful project or product into an even
more beautiful piece that is now one of a kind all your own.
