He got the BIG ONE!!!

On opening weekend my hubby went out deer

hunting and didn't see anything but one doe

on that Saturday, but when he went back the

next morning it was a completely different story.

He waited around until about 10 or 10:30 and

didn't see anything so he got down out of his

stand and started across the field back to the

house and was confronted by a VERY disturbed

buck (probably 2 1/2 yrs.) chasing a doe in heat

and my husband was in his way. The buck was

stomping and grunting and just wanted Steve

out of his way so Steve jumped back up into his

tree stand and blew on the grunt call to see if he

could get the deer back his way....and what came

out of the woods was the BIG ONE!!! Steve said

that he came out of the woods pretty quick and

just sniffed for the doe that the other buck had been

chasing and took off back towards the woods. He

just stopped and turned for one quick look back

for that doe and gave Steve the perfect shot.

This pretty boy is a 12 point 211 lb. field dressed

beauty that is 5 1/2 yrs & definitely going on our wall.

If you live anywhere around Indiana then you

know that's an awesome deer!!! We have 100 lbs.

of meat for the winter and I'm so proud of Steve for

getting this gorgeous deer, thanks hun.

Some Halloween Pics

Ok, just wanted to share some quick pics of the
kids pumpkin carving and Trick-Or-Treating last
night. They had a blast and even Becca (who is 13 and
officially too old for TOTing now) had a blast dressing
in all black pretending to be robbers running around
the neighborhood with her cousin and friends. Carter
wasn't quite sure what it was all about but was pretty
convinced that he liked it when he got to play with other
kids and have a couple bites of chocolate. Emily got to
TOT with her favortie cousin and collect tons of candy
so that pretty much made her month. I hope everyone
had as much fun as my kids did!!! Have a great rest of
the weekend...

In The Spirit of Halloween

I just wanted to post a LO with some Moxxie product
that I made this week. We have been dying to carve
pumpkins around here but I've been making the girls
wait until closer to the end of the week so that their
jack-o-lanterns won't be rotten on Halloween.
Hope you all enjoy this week!!

Lots Today

Tons of stuff to post today.
First of all, it's my 32nd Birthday so
Happy Birthday to me!!!!

I live in this tiny little town that you can
drive right through without even knowing if you're
not careful. I live right on Main St. walking distance
from pretty much everything...the park and play ground,
neighborhood grocery store, gas station, post office, police
station, community center, you get the idea. Well, this is
the gorgeous scene that I woke up to this morning...

Also, my 14 month old Carter did something totally
gross and yet still hilarious yesterday. If you live in the
mid-west like I do then you know how this time of year
everyone gets swarms of ladybugs crawling on and around
the house and many will even find their way into the house.
So, Carter was looking out of the window just watching the
cars and walkers go by like he always does and as he turns
around I can see that he has something in his mouth.
My oldest, Becca, said "Um Mom...I think Carter ate a ladybug"
and yes that was the case. He must have grabbed it off the
window sill and decided that it looked halfway edible and
popped that little sucker right into his mouth. So after I got
him to spit it out and it stuck to his chin I decided that it was too
funny to pass up and I snapped a couple of pics...

The bad thing is that I can't keep them out of the house and
he ate a second ladybug later last night...at least they are not
getting swallowed, just sampled for a little while.

Now lastly I have a layout that I did for Moxxie of course
and then a few cards that I made just for fun.

Thanks so much for looking and hope you all have a
wonderful day!

City Champs!!

Well, we spent a lot of time in the school gym this weekend
and it paid off! Both the 7th grade and 8th grade girls volleyball
teams won City!! Way to go girls! Now we're off to County in
two weeks....whooooo!

BTW, Becca is the one in the top row second from the left #7.
Yes, she's the tallest on the team but she's 5'7" not 6'5"
like she appears to be in the photo....the other tall girls are
sitting down towards the front. I just laughed until I cried
about how silly this looks and my kids probably think I'm crazy!
Have a great evening

My New Favorite

I just wanted to share my new favorite photo of Carter.
He's growing so fast and I snap so many pictures that my
favorite is constantly changing. This photo I love because
of that cute little smile and because my dad LOVES tropical
shirts. My daughters and I found this one at a rummage and
just had to buy it! Of course, I had to take some pictures of
Carter in the shirt to send to my dad and this one turned
out so cute that it's now my current favorite.

Well, I'm off to dig into my new box of goodies from Moxxie!
Have a great day!!

My FIRST!!!

Ok, I'm sure that those of you who know me and maybe even
those of you that don't will find this extremely shocking since
I've been a scrapbooker for 13 years, but I made my FIRST
mini album last week!!! It's even shocking to me. I don't know
what I've been waiting for because I always love and admire
mini's and think that they are just the cutest, but I always end
up going for the layout instead. So finally last week I decided
to go for it. I have this adorable pet line from Moxxie called
Man's Best Friend. It makes a perfect little mini album for
some adorable little puppy or doggie pictures!! Hope u like it!!

Carter's 1st Birthday!!!

MY BABY BOY JUST TURNED ONE YEAR OLD!!!
I honestly can't believe how fast the time has flown by!
I've tried to savor every little second of this time with
him as a baby, but now as he is beginning to walk,
and talk, and play, his baby days are numbered.
I will definitely miss holding that tiny head in
my hands, but I absolutely love the fun age that he
is now and I look forward to all the joy he will bring
us in the future with all of the exciting and fun stages
still to come.
The party was fantastic and Carter enjoyed ripping
into the wrapping paper on his gifts, and also smearing
his own little individual birthday cake all over his face.
Here's a few of the pics from the party.

Trying Something New!!!

Ok, I've been thinking about starting an etsy store for
a little while and I think I'll test it out here first. I love
scrapping (as we all do) and many times I get a visual
in my head for a layout, create it, and then I just don't
have the right pictures for the page...so the layout sits
around my scraproom for a while until the right photos
come along. Well, I was thinking that maybe there was
something else that I could do with these photo-less
pages instead of letting them hang around my scraproom
for an indefinite period of time and that's where the
consideration for an etsy store came into play.
I'm going to put up 3 pre-made layouts for sale here
on my blog and if I get a decent response then I'll know
it's worth continuing.
All of these layouts will come just as you see them here...
completely finished and all you have to do is
JUST ADD PHOTOS and a little journaling if you choose.
These pages will be great for those of you who
just don't have all of the time to dedicate towards
scrapbooking that you'd like, and also makes a
wonderful gift album for a friend or family member.
Remember that these layouts are all one of a kind
therefore there is only one of each, so if you like it then
hurry up and grab it before it's gone!!
Happy Birthday $10
12x12 single page layout
holds one 4x6 photo
and two 3x4 photos

Easter Fun $10
12x12 single page layout
holds three 3x4 photos

Fun With Friends $15
12x12 double page layout
holds two 4x6 photos
and four 3x4 photos

Please email me sarahmullanix@yahoo.com
to place an order or if you have custom orders
or any questions. There will be a $5 delivery
fee for any orders inside of the US and a
$10 delivery charge for anything outside of
the country. Once I get more layouts for sale
I will offer free shipping on any orders of
$50 or more.
Thank you so much for all of your
kind words and support.

I'm Still Around Here...Somewhere!!

Oh, the sickies have hit the baby now!!
Nothing bad, just enough to make Carter
not feel like himself which means he's not
eating like he usually does which also means
that he's not sleeping like he usually does...
yikes!!! We're a family of sleepers so this
is really throwing us off! Hopefully he
(and everyone else) is on the way back
up and I can get back to my normal routine
sometime soon!!! I'll keeping checking in!

Oooohhh, KIDNEY STONES!!

Sorry I've been gone...hubby has been in the hospital
with kidney stones a state away!! He was working out
of town for the past month and they hit him over there!
The doctor told him that among the many stones he has
(he's been dealing with this for about 8 years now) he
has one of the largest stones he has seen in one of his
patients about 2cm......OUCH!! So, he had surgery in
IL and is now back with us in IN seeing his own doctor
about the next step because the first surgery was only
semi successful! Oh, it's always something I guess.
Hopefully life will be back to normal in a few days and
I can catch up once again with all of you!!
I hope everyone has a fabulous SPRING BREAK!!!

Almost like SPRING...almost!

The weather was absolutely GORGEOUS this weekend
here in Central Indiana! Temp. in the 70's, sun shining,
and just so nice to get out of the house for a little while.
So, the girls played in the backyard, found their skates
in the garage and put them to good use, and then we all
headed out for a little walk to the neighborhood park.
Carter absolutely LOVED the breeze, it was pretty strong,
but he still loved it. He even laughed we he kept seeing
all of our hair blowing around. It just totally makes me
crave those Spring and Summer days when I don't have
to send my girls off to school, and we can just hang around
the house having picnics, playing, and enjoying the
gorgeous weather together...not too much longer!

And this game is the reason I have not posted in
a whole week! Oh my goodness, I'm addicted!!
We bought this game for the girls...they have one
for their PS2 that's in their room, but we thought
that we'd buy a different version of it for their Wii
they received for Christmas and although we all
LOVE it and it was well worth the money, I can't
make myself quit! I even stayed up until after
midnight playing one night...and if you know me
and that I have a 6 month old too, that's very late!
The game is kind of like a SIMS type of thing...
you build a farm, plant your garden, raise
animals, and eventually you can even get married
and have kids and all sorts of things that I haven't
gotten to yet! Oh, this silly game...

Happy Thursday everyone!!!
I should be back tomorrow with a couple of
new LO's to share if I can manage to stay off
the Wii long enough to print my pictures!

February's Moxxie Projects

Alright, here are my Moxxie projects for February.
Our assignments for this month were to make some
cards and other little things with some mixed and
matched green product for upcoming St. Patrick's Day,
and also to create a couple of layouts with one of the
new lines. My new line that I worked with was
ROCK DIVA!!

The new Moxxie line, ROCK DIVA, is full of fun prints

and great shimmery rub ons. Make sure you check out

the Moxxie Blog to see all of the new lines just released

last month at CHA...they're fabulous!!

A Little Bit Of Everything

Today I have a little bit of everything to post.
First of all I would like to share another layout
that I made for CHA for Moxxie and then another
layout that I made for Carter just today using some
new Moxxie product. I'm really having fun making
these little boy pages after 12 years of all girl stuff!

I'd also like to share a couple of photos that I took of Carter just
a couple of days ago. He is always such a sweet boy
and he just oooooozes sweetness in these pictures.

And last but not least, (this is mostly for my DH who
is working out of town right now) a funny little video
of Carter laughing uncontrollably at Becca (who else).
I don't know if there's is anyone out there who doesn't
at least smile when they hear that giggle!!!
I absolutely LOVE it!!!

Have a great evening!

Some new layouts just for fun!!

I just wanted to post a few layouts that I actually
created last week, but I've just been waiting for
my pictures before I could post them. After the
CHA rush I just wanted to make some layouts
just for fun...what else!!

I hope you all are having a FABULOUS weekend!
