Ice Cream Social!!

I have some really fun pics taken by Kelley Lohr,
Moxxie's DT Coordinator, from the Ice Cream Social
Pre-Party to CHA...this is where Moxxie debuted
all of their new lines and used the DT samples...
even giving some of them away as door prizes!!
Kelley reported that this was a huge success and I'm
so happy to see that my work was part of that!
Here are some photos of my layouts at the party...

Have a great Sunday evening and I'll be back
tomorrow with my Treasured Scrapbooking Aug. reveal.

Playdate!!

A couple of days ago Carter had a playdate
with a friend's little boy and they had so much
fun! Jenny Brannies little boy, Caleb, just had a
new swing set built at their new house and Carter
could not resist trying out the slide. The two of
us took some action shots as the boys were running
around and between the two of us ended up with
some really great photos!! Thank goodness that I
brought Carter's big sister, Emily, along with us
to help chase down the boys while the two
mom-arrazzis were busy snapping photos!!

Have a terrific Thursday,

Just A Quick Weekend Post

So, while I'm sitting here at home this weekend wishing
that I could be at CHA right now (didn't have a roommate)
I decided to participate in the Simply Obsessed
Just Beachy online crop to occupy my time and get out
some of my scrappy energy!! I haven't created a
double layout in a good couple of months so I just
wanted to share the double layout that I made for one
of the Simply Obsessed Challenges....it was a sketch
challenge that I flipped and then added the second page.
All products used on this layout are from Momenta.

Back to my scrappy desk to try and whip another one
out before the end of the day!!!
There's tons of great LO's being uploaded into the gallery
at Simply Obsessed so head on over and check 'em
out for lots of inspiration and awesome scrappy ideas!!
Have a wonderful Sunday,

A Choo-Choo Train Project Any Little One Would Love!!

I am very excited to share with you another project
for Thoughts 2 Paper. Liz, the store owner, was so nice
to let me choose which projects I would like to work with,
and when I saw this adorable MDF Train I knew that it
would be just perfect for my little boy's room and boy was
I right! My little one, Carter, couldn't even wait until I was
finished painting and decorating this cut little train before
he wanted to try it out.....yes, I know it's a decoration for
his room but I had to let him break it in a little before
putting it up on the shelf. Carter absolutely LOVES his
new Choo-Choo Train and I do too!! Make sure to stop
by the Thoughts 2 Paper online store to grab your own,
it would make the perfect gift or snack holder at a
birthday party or even a gift holder or table decoration
for a baby shower!!!

Have a fantastic Friday!

Pink Ninja Wednesday!!

Hey all!!!
Today is reveal day for Pink Ninjas
Prompt #42 Play Ball.
Not exactly a hard challenge for me
since I have an almost two year old
little boy who loves trucks and you
guessed it.......to PLAY BALL!!!
I went with a pretty simple and clean
design for this layout with just a bit of
spritzing and accents to make the photos
really POP!! I have a ton of these pics
of Carter just playing around with his
toys so thanks to this challenge I finally
got some of them scrapped!

Have a wonderful Wednesday,

Good morning all!
I am such a lucky girl because Liz

Needless to say, I was soooo thrilled
to get to play with the fun and bright
papers and stickers from this line and
here's a couple of cards that I came up with.

Supplies:
cardstock
pattern paper: Echo Park from T2P
flowers: from T2P store
buttons: stock
ribbon: T2P stock
eyelets: American Crafts
border punch: Martha Stewart from T2P store
pearls: Basic Grey from T2P store

On another note, my sisters are flying in this
weekend for a friend's wedding and I'm so excited
to get to see them....they live in California and
only fly in once or twice per year so this will
definitely be a fun weekend!

I have really been wanting to share this
layout that I recently created using my favorite
One of my favorite LO accents right now are
paper doilies and with the Kreaxion Punches
I can make them myself!! How cool is that!
I simply trace and cut out the star template
and then use my favorite punch on each point
of the star....there you have, easy as that,
a fabulous paper doilie that you just made all
on your very own!! The possibilities with these
punches are endless and I'm having a fantastic
time playing with all of them! Make sure you
check out their blog for more awesome ideas
by the other fantastic design team members.

Have a great Friday and weekend,

Lots of Reveals Today!!

Alrighty,
to start things off today is the second
reveal day of the month for
Check out the store because now through
July 15 almost everything in the store
is 40% off!!!
Treasured Scrapbooking July 2010 Kit

I had a blast using the amazing
products in the TS July Kit and even
after creating two layouts and an
altered project I still have tons left.
I've even used some of it on a third
layout that I will be sharing with you
later in the week. So, without any more
gabbing, here is my second LO and an
altered basket I picked up at a yard sale of
course that I now use to hold all of my
handmade cards.

Secondly, today is also reveal day for
Prompt #41 SWAP for Pink Ninjas.
Our challenge was to create a layout
using a photo from one of the other
DT members and I scrapped a photo
of Emily's "New 'Do". The pic was very
sassy and fun to work with so I used
the very sassy and fun pattern papers
from Momenta's Black Tie and Flutter lines.

Make sure to check out Emily's Blog and
Pink Ninja Addicts to see the layout that
Emily scrapped with my photos!

Have a wonderful Wednesday,

1st Trip To The Zoo!!

We had so much fun taking Carter (and the girls)
to the Indianapolis Zoo this past Friday!!
The weather was just perfect...in the low 80's...
and we knew that if we were doing this it
had better be soon before the temperature
headed back up to the mid 90's again
(which it has been already for the past 2 days).
This was Carter's first trip to the zoo and
he is at that perfect age where he knows
what most animals are called and can make
their sounds so it was so amazing to watch
him as he saw and experienced all of them
in real life!! We all had a blast, even Becca
and Emmy who hadn't been there in the past
few years, loved watching Carter learn and
explore. Steve and I decided to have a fun
picture drawn of the 3 kids and figured the
ridiculous price was worth it since it's will be
something that will be kept and treasured 4ever.
It was a great day and a great weekend
celebrating the 4th of July swimming and
cooking out with family and friends!!

Hope you all had a fabulous weekend as well,
LOVES :) -Sarah
