Kreaxions Punches & Webster's Pages!!

Happy New Years Eve!!
Friday is my post day over on the Kreaxions Punches blog
and I've used my Kreaxions punches along with my huge
basket of scraps on my desk (I just can't stand to throw
away those gorgeous patterns) to create another layout
using Webster's Pages GORGEOUS papers!!!

On this layout, I used the Butterfly 4-in-1 punch to create
the punched border under the title and then saved those
tiny butterflies that get punched away to use as accents that
go along with the other butterflies that I created by using the
Kreaxions punch #604 Butterfly that you can see to the left
of the photos. Make sure you check out the Kreaxions blog
to see the other two Webster's Pages layouts that I created
along with punched accents from Kreaxions punches!

Have a great weekend and a Happy New Year!

My 10 Faves of 2010

Alrighty!!
This was about impossible to pick just 10 layouts that
are my favorites from this past year, but a few can't
be shown because of publication so that made it a tiny
bit easier.....I think! Anywhoooo, here they are.....

My style is constantly evolving and fave color combos
changing but I truly LOVE scrapbooking and creating!
Besides my family, it is the first thing on my mind when
I wake up and the last thing I'm thinking about at night.
I'm very thankful to be able to create, I live for designing,
and absolutely LOVE every second.....it's just a part of me!!
Wow, I look back at these and it's been such a great year!
I aiming even higher for 2011! Happy New Year!!

Christmas Recap & A Few Projects

Hi everyone!
I hope that this Monday finds you well.
So, here in our house, it's time for the Christmas
clean-up...we play, eat, relax, and have fun all of the
days surrounding Christmas and now it's time to find
homes for all of those presents and time for Mom to
have her house back!! Here's a few pics from Christmas...

The kids had an absolute blast!! Becca's big gift and almost
only gift this year was her laptop, Emmy's big gift was her
guitar, and Carter's was an electric Cars 4-wheeler!!
They had a very good year, and we enjoyed some family
time at Steve's mom's house during the afternoon.
It was a very Merry Christmas!!!

Of course, I have a few projects to share with you too that
I've been working on the past couple of days. I have another
layout using the Garden Gala line from Webster's Pages.
This one has a few more clean lines (like I've mentioned before,
I like to scrap in a variety of styles, just depends on my mood
and the products) but it's still very much Webster's!!

I also have a double layout that I scrapped with some of the
same photos. I do this sometimes because like in this case the
single layout will go into Carter's baby album and the double
layout with all of the photos included will go into our family
album. Do you all do this too or am I the only one? :)
This layout was created with Momenta papers and alphas.

And last but not least, here's a card using a cute little digi stamp
from Kenny Kiernan and the pattern papers are Crate Paper.
I distressed some of the pattern paper on this card by simply
using sandpaper lightly over the paper creating some rough
and raised areas and then gliding my ink pad over those
areas picking up a bit of dark brown ink on the raised areas.

Well, that's all for today!!
Have a wonderful Monday!

More Webster's Pages!!

Ok, I just wanted to quickly share another layout
and a card that I created with the Garden Gala line
from Webster's Pages...I literally can't keep my
hands off of these GORGEOUS products!! I think
someone may need to start a WP anonymous group! haha :)
And yes, for those of you wondering, I am trying out for
the Webster's Design Team so we'll see how that goes...
fingers crossed!!

Here's what I came up with this time...

....and my card....

Just love love love the pattern papers!! Every night when
my little one goes to bed I sit at my scrappy desk, watch
a Christmas movie, and fussy cut 'til my heart's content!!
HEAVEN!!! :)

Alrighty, I'm off to do some wrapping of the gifts!
Happy Wednesday!

Snow Fun, A Black Eye, & Some WP!!

I know, Iknow, strange title for this blog post
but that's exactly what happened on Sunday.
My hubby takes all the kids sledding and snowboarding
every year, it's kind of his thing, and they had an
absolute BLAST as you can see from the pics he
snapped (yes, my hubby knows better than to
come back from an excursion with the kiddos
without any pics....I've taught him well, jk!!

Anywhoooo, towards the end of all the snow fun
my 14 year old daughter, Becca, and her cousin were
playing around hitting snowballs with their snowboards
as if they were playing baseball and my daughter just
being her (super athletic, made the play of a lifetime one
minute and not having enough grace to even walk ten
steps the next minute) self, swung the snowboard with
all of her might and whipped it around so far that she
hit herself in the eye! Oh yeah, that's my Becca!!
You can see just a little bruise there under her right eye.

Crazy kid!!

I did some creating the past couple of days as well,
what's new right?!! I create just about everyday of my life!
I used the Garden Gala line from Webster's Pages to scrap
a few photos from Becca's pool party over the summer.
I'm absolutely in LOVE with these gorgeous pattern papers
and that teal background print is just to die for!!! Teal is
my absolute fave color!! I totally love how you can cut
and trim away til your little heart is content with these
papers...I could just sit for hours just fussy cutting away,
it's my happy place where I can just block out the rest of
the world and create my own little world of beautiful cut-outs!
Here's my layout that I came up with and a few close-ups...

Gorgeous products!!
Well, I'm off to finish up a few last minute details!
Have a terrific Tuesday!

Christmas Cards!!

Happy Monday everyone!
Oh, I'm such a happy girl today!
I was able to sleep until 8am!!!!!!!!!!!! Wooooohoooooo!!!
For all of you with two year olds, you know how special
that is to be able to sleep all the way until 8am! My girls
are out of school (thank goodness, I LOVE having them
at home) for Christmas break and we have lots of
wrapping and baking cookies and just family time to do
over these next two weeks....Carter LOVES having his
big sisters at home with him, he finally has playmates!

Ok, on with the cards!
I shared my layout on Friday that I created with the
gorgeous Precocious Paper flowers and Momenta products,
and now I'd like to share a few Christmas cards that I
created over the weekend using Precocious Paper flowers
and the Momenta Winterberry line...I just LOVE the
coordinating chipboard accents like that big candy cane!
So cute!!

Alright everyone, I'm off to stock up on tape and start
wrapping all those presents! Have a wonderful Monday!
