Takes Me Back

Boy it sure takes me back to when I was about 10 years
old and I couldn't have been happier to hear the words...
SNOW DAY!!!
The girls were thrilled when they woke up many hours
later than usual yesterday morning and heard those words
that all kids love to hear. Of course Becca and Emmy
wanted to play in the foot of snow that fell that very
moment, but I did make them wait until just before
lunch to go outside. Here are a few of the pictures that
I snapped of them in the backyard.
(from inside the kitchen...I just opened up the window
and held up my camera and snapped away...I had to
stay inside with the baby you know...haha)

Hope all of you had a GREAT day too!!

Fast & Easy

I just wanted to share a layout that I made last night
after Carter went to bed and the girls had settled down
for the night. You know how sometimes you're just in
the groove and you can complete a layout in no time
flat...well that was me last night!! This page only took
me about 30 minutes and those of you that now how
I scrap know that's fast! I just LOVE the way that it
came out and this photo of Carter is my favorite so I
really wanted to do it justice...I hope you all like it too!

Have a GREAT snow day!!

Just A Couple More...

Just a couple more things that I wanted to share that
I made with the new Moxxie lines being shown off at
CHA as we speak. Both the layout and the card were
made with the Hockey line. So, even though I don't
have a hockey player, I thought it would be cute to
use the pp to do a layout about all the sports that my
girls play on their new Wii.

Also, I would like to share some fun photos that I've taken over

the past week or so. I've started the photo a day for 2009...I

thought that with a baby in the house, this would be a great

year to start this project. I really wish that I would have done

this with my girls when they were babies...it will be great to

look back on all the photos and watch how fast Carter changes

and grows, and also to remember all the activities that keep

us so busy right now with our girls.

Daddy, Emmy, & Carter

Carter showing me his adorable grin and
BIG baby blues.

Carter holding his own bottle (which we just
started him on so I was shocked when he
started feeding himself) .

Becca learning how to dive off the block.

Becca contemplating diving off the block.

Becca practicing her breaststroke breathing
(blurry I know, but it was taken from the
balcony in poor light and a blurry photo is
better than no photo at all).
Emily accepting her new yellow
striped belt at her karate promotion.

Close up of Emily's new belt and patches.

Thanks to everyone who checks out my blog and leaves such kind

comments...if any of you have a cute idea for scrapping my 365 photos

that's quick and easy please feel free to share. I've been checking out

various ways that I can do this, but haven't settled on anything just

yet. Have a great Tuesday!!

More FUN Moxxie Stuff!!

Hey everyone, I hope you all had a great weekend! Those of
you that headed off to CHA are still having fun I'm sure
(wish I could be there). I would love to be in warm sunny
Cali right now, and be able to visit my sisters too would
be nice. Anyway, I wanted to share one of my layouts that
is hanging in the Moxxie booth as we speak. I used the
OUR ROOTS line for this layout and titled it
WE ADDED ANOTHER BRANCH TO OUR FAMILY TREE.

Make sure you check out the Moxxie Blog to see this
entire line, and leave a comment to have a chance to
win some fun new Moxxie product and see pictures of
the Moxxie CHA Booth!!!

Also, I received another blog award from the super talented Elizabeth!

Thanks so much!!

Have a GREAT week everybody!

Snow Day!!

Alright not today, but last Friday my girls were out of school
for the chilly weather and the snow and ice, so what did my
hubby do...he took them out in the snow and ice. He's not that
bad, the day did start off way too cold, but warmed up to about
30 so it was fine for the kids to be outside snowboarding and
sledding. I sent the camera along with him (since I was staying
home with our 5 month old, Carter) and he just looked at me
like "Do I have to?", but he came back with some really great
photos! I have to say I was pleasantly surprised!!

I did find out from him a couple days later though that the

reason he took his time to get some decent pictures was

because other dads were out there with their cameras too

so he didn't feel as strange. I just had to laugh!!

CHA Craziness!!!

Alrighty, as promised, I'm showing off one of my layouts that
I made with the new Moxxie lines. This page was creating using
pretty much just the double sided scalloped circle papers...
my favorite part of the new lines!!! Gone through tons of my
stash of them already! The striped pp is from the past
Birthday Boy line, and the "I Did It!" circles are cut from
the new Boy Potty Training line. The new stuff is so great
because everything is interchangeable and can be mixed and
matched. Make sure you stop by the Moxxie Blog and check
out the new products and leave a comment for your chance
to win some of these yummy goodies!!!

Sorry for the flash on the picture in the layout,
I had some lighting issues.
Have a GREAT Wednesday!

2 More Sneaks from Moxxie!!

I back with 2 more sneak peeks from the new Moxxie lines.

These two are fun family oriented lines...so much you can do
with both of these. I'll be posting layouts that I made with the
new lines later this week so keep checking back.

Again, notice the DOUBLE-SIDED scalloped circle papers...
yes I said DOUBLE-SIDED!! The green in the recipe cards
and on the papers is a very fun funky lime green...it comes
across a little yellow in the pics. ENJOY!!!!!

came up with and have already used one of them on a layout
and will be using this one on a card...

Elizabeth Carney was the winner with an adorable Valentine's tag. You have to go see it!

He Rolled ... FINALLY!

I can't believe it, but one day before Carter turns 5 months old

he finally rolled over. We've known for a while now that he could

totally roll if he wanted to...he just hasn't wanted to I guess. I

think that he is more concerned with figuring out how to get

himself upright than rolling. But, today, I put him down on his

little blue blankie for some tummy time with a stuffed lion and

his passie in front of him for some encouragement. He went after

the passie immediately (almost army crawling to get it) and the

second he grabbed that pacifier he plopped straight to his back

before I could even realize what happened. He just gave me a

little grin and got himself all comfy to take a nap (all my baby's

LOVE to sleep). Even after having 3 kids, these little firsts are

as exciting as they were 12 years ago when I was watching my

oldest roll over for the first time. I am sooooo lucky to be able

to stay @ home with my children and be able to witness all of

their milestones, no matter how big or small they may be!

Something To Make You Smile

Yiiiipppppeeeee, got another layout done today thanks to my
baby boy, Carter, who was doing this while I was scrapping...

...yep, he fell asleep in his high chair right next to me

(which he can't really sit up in yet, I just prop him with a blankie)

while I was making a layout all about him...

...LOVE being able to use these fun boy patterns after years

of just scrapping for girls.

I also have a little video clip that I wanted to share with

everyone. It's of Carter really laughing hard at his big sister

Becca being a goofball (what's new?) ... I don't think anyone

can keep from smiling when they hear a baby laugh!

So, hopefully you will all hear this contageous laugh

and it will start your week of on a good note!

Busy Day...Good Day!

Well, yesterday was a very busy day but lots of good things
happening. I got to scrapbook a couple layouts...trying to get
geared up for CHA here in a couple weeks,

and Emmy's big day of getting promoted to the next belt in her
karate class! She is so proud of herself, and so am I. She keeps
showing me how different she looks with her yellow striped
belt instead of just her plain old white one, and also her blue
gi for being able to do the splits instead of her old white gi.
Lots of progress made today...great day!

Have a great weekend everybody!!!

New Moxxie Projects For This Month

This month our challenge was to create 3 tags or 3 embellies.
The challenge was open to DT members old and new and a
nice little gift pack is the special prize for the winner our
challenge! I can't wait to see what everyone has come up with,
but for now here are my 3 tags that I created using the
Moxxie 4th of July, Birthday Girl, and Glamour Girl lines.

Have a great weekend!!!
