Fun In The Rain with Nikki Sivils & Helmar

Hi everyone, as promised, here is my Nikki Sivils/Helmar layout using the "It's Raining, It's Pouring" collection. I knew as soon as I saw this line with the colorful raindrops, cute rain boots, and adorable umbrellas that I had the perfect photo for this page. Armed with my Helmar Adhesive Runner, Helmar ZapDots, and Helmar Premium Craft Glue, I got to work!

I layered multiple cardstock stickers from the Nikki Sivils "It's Raining, It's Pouring" sticker and alpha sheet to create this layered embellishment on my page...with the help of the Helmar ZapDots, of course.

I also used the Helmar ZapDots to add dimension to my hand cut banner.
Then, I used the Helmar Premium Craft Glue to adhere the little flags and flag poles that I cut from the Nikki Sivils "It's Raining, It's Pouring" pattern papers. I also used the Helmar Adhesive Runner to adhere all of the background papers and photo to my layout.

Here is the final layout. I really love the way the colors in this line perfectly match the colors of my son's umbrella in the photo! This collection was so much fun to work with, and I just love all of the creating possibilities that I have using the Helmar Adhesives!

Have a wonderful holiday weekend!! LOVES :) -Sarah

Donna Salazar SWEET GIRL Card

Hi everyone, Sarah here to share with you a card that I made using the Donna Salazar Antiquities paper line. I really wanted this card to look very girly so I focused on cutting out a lot of the pink florals from the pattern paper, added a yellow cardstock card base, and used a circle punch to punch out some additional frilly patterns. I also cut out a journal card from the Artistic Papers to anchor the sentiment, "Sweet Girl". Then I embellished with a tied bow from red and white baker's twine, drew on my faux stitching, and added my sentiment. I also used the Glue Gloss to add a bit of Fairy Dust Glitter to the small red letters giving them a bit of shimmer.

Have a wonderful day!

Supplies: Donna Salazar Antiquities collection through GCD Studios, Glue Gloss from Clearsnap, Fairy Dust Glitter in Pralines and Cream from Clearsnap, Distrezz-It-All from Zutter

Clip It Up and BoBunny

Hi everyone!! Today I am really excited to share with you my altered Clip It Up using the Ad Lib collection from BoBunny. I was lucky enough to receive this line from BoBunny through Clip It Up and I just couldn't resist the fun and colorful patterns of this line!! First, I spray painted my Clip It Up Base with a light teal, then really decked it out with pattern paper, stickers, and chipboard from the BoBunny Ad Lib collection. Now this Base holds all of my fabric which means no more digging through bags and piles of fabric trying to see all of my patterns...woohoo

I also had to create a layout with the Ad Lib collection too. My daughter's pics that she snapped of herself walking down the street to the bus stop on her last day of 8th grade were just the perfect match for this line and I'm really liking the way this page turned out.

Hope you have had a blast altering you Clip It Up, and if you still haven't done this then you must give it a try!! Have a wonderful Wednesday!
